Booster Updates
CVS says some locations are out of Moderna's updated bivalent booster shots, but it still has the Pfizer version.

Dr. Ashish Jha, White House COVID-19 response coordinator, said
CVS.com and the CVS Pharmacy app offered Pfizer shots and "limited Moderna appointments."
Appointments are updated as supplies arrive.

According to the CDC
patients don't have to match the bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine to the brand they received during their primary series or previous boosters.
"There are ample supplies of the bivalent Pfizer COVID-19 booster,"
the statement said. "Vaccine appointments are widely available" on the state's vaccination website.

The gov't approved updated boosters on Sept. 1. The updated Moderna shot is for those 18 and older, while the Pfizer shot is for those 12 and older.
